Anderson Lucoqui joins Braunschweig

Anderson Lucoqui has left Hertha BSC, with the 26-year-old completing a move to Eintracht Braunschweig on deadline day. “We would like to thank Andy for his efforts at Hertha BSC. He was a true professional and always put the needs of the team first. We wish him all the best for the future both on and off the future,” said sporting director Benjamin Weber. 

The defensive all-rounded arrived at the Old Lady last summer and made his sole appearance for Hertha in matchday 2’s home game against Wiesbaden. Lucoqui, who has one cap for Angola, also featured four times for our U23s, and has had previous spells at Mainz 05, Arminia Bielefeld and Hansa Rostock.
