Marten Winkler signs long-term contract with Hertha BSC
Hertha BSC have agreed a contract extension until 2027 with homegrown talent Marten Winkler, as previously announced at the club’s annual general meeting on the weekend. “Matte’s been at the club for many years. He has made the leap from the academy to the first team with us, serving as another prime example of the successful pathway of our academy talents. He has great potential with his speed and daring playing style, so we’re looking forward to working on his development with him,” shared sporting director Benjamin Weber. The young talent added: “I’m thrilled to be able to play in blue and white for many years to come. My goal is to continue to progress as a player, and Hertha BSC provides the perfect environment for that.”
