Kanga loaned out to Liège

Wilfried Kanga has moved to RSC Liège on a season-long loan. “We’ve been in close contact with the player and his agent over the past few days in order to try and resolve the situation. We’ve managed to do that with the loan deal and we wish Wilfried all the best in Belgium,” said sporting director Benjamin Weber about the move.

Kanga arrived in Berlin in the summer of 2022 from BSC Young Boys. Last season, the Ivorian made 23 Bundesliga appearances for the Old Lady and netted two goals. The 25 year-old also made his Ivory Coast debut in September, winning two caps for his country since then.
