Hertha BSC and Filip Uremović agree to contract termination
Filip Uremović has made one appearance for the ‘Old Lady’ this season in the DFB-Pokal and he will not be making any further appearances, as Hertha BSC have terminated his contract by mutual consent. “Filip came to us with this wish and in our talks we finally came to the agreement that an end to our work together was the best solution for all sides. We would like to thank him for his dedicated performances and wish him all the best,” said sporting director Benjamin Weber. “I gained important experiences in Berlin and have developed myself further despite sporting situation not always being easy. I'll be crossing my fingers for the club in the future and hope that they return to the Bundesliga soon,” said the defender.
Uremović played 23 competitive games in a Hertha shirt having joined in the summer of 2022. Before joining the ‘Old Lady’ he played for Rubin Kasan, Sheffield United, NK Olimpija Ljubljana and Dinamo Zagreb. He has also made six appearances for the Croatia national team.
