Pascal Klemens signs new contract
Pascal Klemens has become the latest Hertha BSC youth product to sign a new contract with the club after signing a new deal until 2026. “We’re pleased that another home-grown player from the academy has chosen to remain at the club and to be a part of the project here. Pascal is without a doubt one of the best talents in his age group and has a lot of potential. We’ll support him as best we can in his development,” said Benjamin Weber. “As captain of the U19s, he’s demonstrated leadership qualities despite his young age and is also capable of playing at centre back and in defensive midfield.”

The 18-year-old has been at the club since 2015 and has been able to showcase his ability in the club’s youth teams. The Berlin native, who played for Wacker Lankwitz and Hertha 03 Zehlendorf before joining the Old Lady, has already represented Germany at U17 and U18 level and left a good impression at the first team training camp at the beginning of the year. “Hertha is my club. I’m really happy with the trust shown in me by the club management and I want to repay them through my work every day, starting next season,” said Klemens, who made his Bundesliga debut in the win over Wolfsburg on Saturday.
