Hertha sign Fabian Reese
Following the signing of Florian Niederlechner on Tuesday, Hertha BSC are delighted to announce the signing of Fabian Reese from Holstein Kiel. The 25-year-old striker has agreed terms until 2026 and will join the club in the summer. “Fabian Reese has developed really well over the past couple of seasons and has garnered the attention of quite a few clubs. We are delighted that he has chosen Hertha BSC. He is a fast, dynamic striker who can play both through the middle and out wide,” explained Fredi Bobic.
10 appearances for the Germany U20s
Reese featured 13 times in the Bundesliga for Schalke 04 and has also made 146 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga where he has 37 direct goal involvements to his name (12 goals, 25 assists). The 25-year-old also has international experience and scored 3 goals in 10 appearances for the Germany U20s. He featured at the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup alongside future teammates Suat Serdar and Maximilian Mittelstädt. We're looking forward to seeing you in the summer, Fabian!
