Five friendlies to see out the year
The Bundesliga will take an extended break in mid-November due to the World Cup. Our Herthaner will still play a few games before their well-deserved Christmas break begins on 8th December. A week after the final home game of 2022 against 1. FC Köln (12/11/22, 15:30 CET) Hertha will take part in the Wörthersee Cup in Klagenfurt, initially facing TSV 1860 Munich (19/11/22, 16:00 CET). Depending on the result against the third-tier side, Hertha will then play the following day in the tournament’s final or third place play-off. The other semi-final is between Austria Klagenfurt and Grazer AK.
Ludwigsfelde, Hannover and Braunschweig
A week later, Marvin Plattenhardt & Co. are due to face fifth-division outfit Ludwigsfelder FC (26/11/22, 13:00 CET). That is followed by two games against 2. Bundesliga teams. Firstly, Hannover 96 will host Hertha (2/12/22, 15:00 CET) and then Braunschweig will visit Berlin five days later (7/12/22, 13:00 CET). 2023 will begin with performance tests on 2nd January before a training camp in the US.
